Police said the incident occurred at around 8pm on Wednesday, when the teenager allegedly threatened a 20-year-old man sitting on a bench in Ayia Napa with a knife and robbed him of his wallet.
Investigation and arrest
Police said subsequent investigations identified the 17-year-old as a suspect. Investigations into the case are ongoing, police said.
