Omorfita, Cyprus. A 17-year-old Syrian held at Omorfita police station escaped police custody on Friday and disappeared. Police launched a manhunt to recapture the teenager.
Police response
According to Reporter, officers and patrol cars were deployed as part of the search operation following the escape.
Previous incidents
Over the past few years, two other incidents of people in custody escaping from the same police station have also been recorded.
