Lasithi, Greece. Greece’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said 176 nationals of EU member states and third countries who participated in the ‘Global Sumud Flotilla’ disembarked on May 1 at a port in Crete’s Lasithi regional unit.

The ministry said 31 of those who disembarked were transferred to the Sitia General Hospital for first aid, while the remainder were taken to Heraklion airport, where their gradual departure from Greece began under the responsibility of the respective foreign consular authorities.
