Collision on Georgiou A Street
Police said that around 9pm, a 23-year-old man riding a motorcycle on Georgiou A Street in Limassol with a 21-year-old passenger collided with the back of a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old, under circumstances that are being investigated.
Injuries and hospital treatment
The 23-year-old and 21-year-old were injured in the collision and were taken by ambulance to hospitals in Limassol. The motorcycle driver suffered fractures to his leg and arm and was detained for further treatment.
Passenger remains in critical condition
The 21-year-old passenger underwent surgery due to multiple injuries, with doctors describing his condition as critical.
