Kato Polemidia, Cyprus. A 23-year-old wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Kato Polemidia on Tuesday turned himself in on Thursday morning and was arrested. He is due to appear before a court later on Thursday for a remand order.

Police had secured an arrest warrant for the man on Wednesday.
Stabbing victim in hospital
On Tuesday, Limassol general hospital informed police that a 23-year-old had been taken there by ambulance and was undergoing surgery for abdominal wounds caused by stabbing.
Medical condition
According to doctors, the man is out of danger and is recovering in hospital.
