Limassol, Cyprus. A 58-year-old man was arrested after police seized a large quantity of cannabis-related products in Limassol, authorities said on Friday. The suspect was arrested on Thursday night.
Search and seizure
Police said officers searched a container in a warehouse in cooperation with the customs department. They found 150 packages containing 590 preparations with cannabinol (CBN) and cannabidiol (CBD), as well as 100 cannabis-infused chocolates.
Court proceedings
The man is expected to appear before Limassol District Court for a remand hearing later on Friday.
Allegations
Police said the case concerns the illegal importation, possession and supply of drugs.
