Sarcelles, France. About 300 people were evacuated from a neighbourhood in Sarcelles after a suspicious car was found near the town’s synagogue, French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said.
Investigation under way
Nunez said the incident occurred on Saturday evening and that an investigation was under way.
A military weapon was found in the vehicle, he said in comments to broadcaster BFM. The motive and the identity of any suspect had not been established.
