Aglandjia, Cyprus. Residents of Aglandjia on Sunday elected Andri Hadjiandreou as the municipality’s new deputy mayor. Full details of her share of the vote were expected to be announced later on Sunday evening.

Hadjiandreou ran against Prokopis Prokopiou in the by-election.
Political backing
She was supported by Akel, Edek, Alma, the Ecologists Movement and the Greens.
Turnout
Voter turnout was low, with 4,209 people casting ballots, representing 27.7 per cent of registered voters.
Reason for by-election
The by-election was held after Andreas Constantinou was elected as an MP on the Disy ballot.
