The leader of the Turkish-Cypriots Mr. Mustafa Akinci said that after the resolution the Cyprus problem, some forms of guarantees and Turkish military presence are necessary. However, he said about the possibility to reach an agreement, whereby Turkish troops will leave the island after a certain period of time.
He also reminded that Turkish-Cypriots insist on the political equality in the governance system of the future Federation.
