Athens, Greece. Alpha Bank said it completed a share buyback by acquiring 2,148,573 of its own shares through the Athens Stock Exchange between April 14 and April 17, 2026.
Buyback transactions
In an official announcement, the bank said the transactions were carried out under the share buyback programme approved by the Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders held on June 12, 2025, and in continuation of its announcement dated September 17, 2025.
The acquisitions were completed at an average purchase price of €3.7676 per share, with a total cost of €8,094,958.07.
Treasury shares and share capital
Following the transactions, Alpha Bank said it holds 60,997,910 treasury shares, representing 2.6346 per cent of its total share capital.
