The reunification negotiation are still underway. This time, Anastasiades will meet with the US vice-president Joe Biden in New York. The aim of the meeting is to inform the vice-president about the progress in the talks.
After the meeting with Anastasiades, Joe Biden plans to have a separate meeting with the leader of Turkish-Cypriots Akinci and Prime-Minister of Greece – Alexis Tsipras.
