Asbis reports record $44.3 million quarterly net profit in second quarter of 2026

Limassol, Cyprus. Cyprus-based IT distributor ASBISc Enterprises Plc, commonly known as Asbis, reported its most profitable quarter on record after net profit more than tripled in the second quarter of 2026. The company cited strong demand for AI infrastructure, smartphones and servers across its international markets.


Record profit and revenue

According to the company’s half-year report, net profit reached $44.3 million in the second quarter, compared with $12.1 million in the corresponding period of 2025. The result was the highest quarterly profit in the company’s 36-year history.

For the first half of 2026, Asbis generated net profit after tax of $80.6 million, compared with $19.4 million in the same period last year.

Second-quarter revenue rose 78.7 per cent year on year to $1.69 billion, from $949.3 million a year earlier. Revenue for the first six months of 2026 reached $2.97 billion, up 76 per cent from the first half of 2025.

Margins and operating results

Gross profit increased 88.7 per cent in the second quarter to $119.9 million, while the gross profit margin rose to 7.07 per cent from 6.69 per cent a year earlier.

Operating profit, or EBIT, more than doubled to $62.6 million, compared with $23.5 million in the second quarter of 2025. EBITDA rose to $66.4 million from $26.0 million in the corresponding quarter last year.

Selling expenses increased 49.1 per cent to $34.9 million, while administrative expenses rose 34.9 per cent to $22.4 million.
