Nicosia, Cyprus. ASBISc Enterprises Plc has appointed Jaan Kristian Teär as a non-executive director, effective July 1, 2026. The announcement comes after the company also published its latest monthly consolidated revenue figures in late June 2026.
Board appointment
The company said Teär brings more than 30 years of experience leading publicly listed companies and has been recognized for strategic repositioning and shareholder value creation in the telecommunications, consumer electronics, and digital infrastructure sectors.
He most recently served as chief executive officer of Bang & Olufsen from 2019 to 2026, where he led the company’s transformation into a globally positioned luxury technology brand.
His previous executive roles include senior positions at Logitech, Blackberry, and Sony Ericsson, as well as service as a regional president for Ericsson across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Teär holds a Master of Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
In a statement, the company confirmed that Teär does not conduct any business competing with ASBISc and is not involved in the activities of any competing entity.
Revenue update
Separately, the Cyprus-based IT distributor published its estimated monthly consolidated revenues for May 2026 in late June.
The company, commonly known as Asbis, said estimated consolidated revenues for the month reached approximately $604 million.
This represented an increase of about 89 per cent compared with May 2025, when revenues totaled $320 million.
