Limassol, Cyprus. A fire broke out in a bus parked near a primary school in the Limassol area in the early hours of Wednesday. The driver escaped the burning vehicle without injury, though the engine was badly damaged.
Fire reported before dawn
The fire department said the driver was inside the bus when he noticed flames and called for help at 5.52am. Fire crews extinguished the flames and brought the fire under control shortly after.
Investigation underway
The causes of the fire were to be examined during the day on Wednesday.
