Paphos, Cyprus. A car was extensively damaged after catching fire in the early hours of Tuesday in Paphos, with the blaze also spreading to a nearby vehicle. Police said the fire broke out at around 4.30am.
Fire damage and response
The fire started in a car belonging to a 39-year-old woman. Police said the blaze caused extensive damage to her vehicle as well as to a neighbouring car owned by a 60-year-old man.
Investigation underway
The fire was extinguished by the fire service, while the scene was cordoned off and remains under police guard.
