Nicosia, Cyprus. Scottish actor Clive Russell, known for playing Brynden Tully, or “The Blackfish”, in Game of Thrones, will attend Cyprus Comic Con in October, organisers announced on Wednesday.
The annual convention will take place at the Cyprus State Fair grounds in Nicosia from October 2 to 4.
Guest activities
Comic Con said visitors will be able to see Russell and take part in scheduled guest activities. Official guest tokens will be required to meet him, obtain an autograph or take a photograph.
Russell recently appeared in the second season of Netflix series One Piece, adapted from the Japanese manga series, as the caretaker of the giant whale Laboon and a lighthouse keeper. His other television roles include Ripper Street, Happiness and Outlander.
Additional guests
Other announced guests include voice actors Maxence Cazorla, Rich Keeble and Kirsty Rider, who contributed to the video game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, as well as cosplayers Leon Chiro and Taryn.
Cyprus Comic Con celebrates comics, gaming, cosplay and other elements of pop culture. Organisers said further lineup announcements are expected in the coming days.
