Cooperative society to hold 40 meetings on €42 million public share offering

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Pancyprian Cooperative Society for Participation and Promotion of Cooperativism will begin a series of 40 regional meetings on July 30, 2026, to inform the public about the terms of its €42 million public share offering.

The meetings, organised with the Union of Cyprus Communities, follow the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission’s approval of the prospectus.

Meeting schedule

The first meeting will take place at 7:30pm on July 30 at the Astromeritis Cultural Centre.

Further meetings are scheduled for 7:00pm in Evrychou on August 4, in Marathasa on August 5, at 5:30pm at Koula Pilavaki’s café in Kambos on August 6, and at 7:00pm at the Olympus cinema theatre in Pelendri on August 27.

Share purchases

The meetings will provide information on the terms and conditions of the offering. People wishing to become members by purchasing shares must bring a bank card, identity card and a utility bill from the electricity authority, telephone provider or water supply.

Organisers urged prospective investors to study the approved prospectus and the public offering terms before applying.

Online platform

The meetings follow the July 22 launch of an online platform for the purchase of shares in the proposed Pancyprian Cooperative Bank.

Eligible citizens can become members by purchasing shares in the participation company established to create the new bank. The minimum investment is 100 shares at €1 each.

Payments of up to €10,000 can be made by bank card through JCC and are transferred to a dedicated Bank of Cyprus account. Higher payments require a bank transfer after contact with the issuer’s support team.

Investment warning

The organisation said CySEC’s approval of the prospectus should not be interpreted as an endorsement of the shares. It urged investors to understand the risks and potential benefits before investing.
