Cosmos Insurance shareholders approve €1 million dividend distribution

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cosmos Insurance Public Company Ltd said shareholders have approved a total dividend distribution of €1,000,000 following decisions at its annual general meeting. The company issued a formal regulatory announcement on Wednesday confirming the approval.


Dividend approval and per-share amount

The cash distribution was ratified at the annual assembly held on May 14, 2026, backing a proposal put forward by the board of directors. The total payout corresponds to a gross dividend of €0.0177 per ordinary share with a nominal value of €0.02.

Source of funds and dividend yield

According to the company’s official books, the €1,000,000 dividend is drawn from retained earnings, including profits of €391,610 from 2020, €474,670 from 2021, and €133,720 from 2022. The company said the payout represents a dividend yield of 5.75 per cent based on the average closing price on the Cyprus Stock Exchange on May 13, 2026.

Key dates for eligibility and payment

The company set the dividend ex-date for May 28, 2026, meaning shares traded from that day will no longer carry the right to the distribution. The record date is May 29, 2026, and the payment date is June 22, 2026. The company urged investors to review the distribution logistics and any required administrative actions.
