Cosmos Insurance shareholders approve €1 million dividend payout at Nicosia AGM

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cosmos Insurance Public Company Ltd said shareholders approved a €1 million dividend payout at the company’s annual general meeting held in Nicosia. The company said the dividend will be €0.0177 per share.


Dividend amount and yield

The company said the dividend is based on a nominal value of €0.02 per share. It added that the dividend corresponds to a yield of about 5.75 per cent, calculated on the average closing share price on May 13, 2026.

Key dates for entitlement and payment

The record date for dividend entitlement has been set for May 29, 2026. Eligible shareholders are those registered in the Central Depository and Central Registry of the Cyprus Stock Exchange on that date, or those holding accepted securities through off-exchange transfers completed by then.

The company said its shares will trade ex-dividend from May 28, 2026, meaning buyers from that date will not be entitled to the dividend. The dividend payment date has been scheduled for June 22, 2026.

Payment process

For investors whose shares are held through participants such as brokerage firms or custodians, the company said payments will be made to those participants in line with the records of the Central Depository, and the participants will distribute the amounts to their clients.

For shareholders holding shares in a special account within the Central Depository, the company said payments will be made directly to their declared bank accounts or, if no account details have been provided, via cheque sent to the registered address.

Approval of financial statements and reports

Shareholders also approved the financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, along with the management report, corporate governance report and auditors’ report, as audited by the company’s external auditors.
