Cyprus Airways and flydubai launch interline agreement to expand connectivity via Dubai

Larnaca, Cyprus. Cyprus Airways and flydubai have launched a new interline agreement to strengthen international connectivity and expand passenger access to destinations across the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The deal enables single-ticket bookings with coordinated baggage handling and transfers via Dubai International Airport.

Single-ticket travel and transfers via Dubai

The Dubai-based carrier flydubai has partnered with Cyprus Airways to allow travellers to book journeys under a single ticket, with coordinated baggage handling and transfers via Dubai International Airport (DXB).

Destinations available through the agreement

Under the agreement, passengers flying with Cyprus Airways from Larnaca will gain access through Dubai to destinations served by flydubai, including Almaty, Colombo, Dhaka, Jeddah, Krabi, Kathmandu, Kuwait City, Langkawi, Muscat, Medina, Malé, Astana, Penang and Riyadh.

Connectivity and access to Cyprus

The airlines said the partnership enhances options for travellers departing from Cyprus by enabling onward connections through Dubai to business and leisure destinations across flydubai’s network. Flydubai passengers will also gain improved access to Cyprus via Cyprus Airways routes to Larnaca, supporting inbound tourism, trade and business travel.

Implementation and availability

The agreement is already in effect, with bookings available through the airlines’ sales channels, travel agencies and authorised representatives. The announcement called the partnership an important milestone in strengthening Cyprus’ international air connectivity and said it lays the groundwork for broader future cooperation between the carriers.
