Cyprus betting gross revenue rose 22% year-on-year to €395.5 million in Q4 2025, NBA says

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus’ betting market strengthened in the fourth quarter of 2025, with total gross revenue from Class A and Class B operators rising 22% year-on-year to €395.5 million, the National Betting Authority said. Total gross revenue for 2025 reached €1.33 billion, up 8% from 2024.


Quarterly revenue and operator breakdown

The Q4 total compared with €323.2 million in the corresponding period of 2024. Online betting accounted for the largest share of activity during the October–December period, with Class B operators generating €301.5 million in total gross revenue, while Class A land-based premises accounted for €94.1 million.

Year-on-year comparisons

The authority said gross revenue from Class A operators rose 9% compared with the fourth quarter of 2024 and 4% compared with the same period in 2023. Class B revenue rose 27% year-on-year and 28% compared with the fourth quarter of 2023.

Player payouts and betting earnings

Player payouts across both categories reached €348.2 million in the quarter, a 25% annual increase. Online players received €271.5 million during the period. For the full year, total player payouts amounted to €1.17 billion, up 9% compared with 2024. Overall betting earnings, the difference between pay-ins and pay-outs, amounted to €47.4 million in the fourth quarter, a 4% increase compared with €45.5 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
