Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) announced a new cooperation with the Association of Cyprus Banks to publish informational materials for the local business community.

New resources for businesses

Keve said the initiative will publish and promote resources focused on the relationship between businesses and banking institutions. The informational material was developed based on feedback collected from member companies of local chambers and associations operating under the auspices of the national organisation.

Focus on banking transactions and service

The content addresses professional transactions with banks, the quality of service provided, and regulatory obligations that businesses must meet. Practical information will be offered through written content and short explanatory videos covering various thematic areas.

Accounts, interest rates, and procedures

Key subjects include different types of bank accounts available to businesses, types of interest rates and their characteristics, and guidance on banking transactions and basic procedures for efficient management.

ESG and compliance obligations

The material also covers the ESG framework and includes a focus on regulatory compliance and related business obligations in the current environment.
