London, United Kingdom. Cyprus Deputy Shipping Minister Marina Hadjimanoli travels to London on Monday to attend an event promoting the Cypriot maritime and shipping industry.
The event is being organised by the deputy ministry at the International Maritime Organisation and will be attended by IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Domínguez and representatives of IMO member states.
Meetings at IMO event
Hadjimanoli is also scheduled to meet Fawaz Al-Sahli, president of Saudi Arabia’s transport general authority, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the shipping sector.
Promotion of Cypriot ship registry
The deputy minister is also expected to meet representatives of shipping companies as part of efforts to expand collaboration and promote the Cypriot ship registry.
