The Cyprus newspaper ” Kathimerini” reports that Cyprus, Greece, Israel and Italy are promoting their plans to construct underwater pipeline from the Israeli gas field Leviathan up to the Italian city of Brindizi.
The General directors of the Ministries of energy of the four countries will meet in the building of the European Commission in Brussels in order to discuss the construction of the 2,000 km pipeline.
The meeting in the capital of Belgium will precede the negotiations between the four minister of energy, which will take place in Israel next month.
