Nicosia, Cyprus. A packed events schedule across Cyprus in May and June includes village festivals, art and comedy programmes, food gatherings, business networking, and automotive displays.
Agros Rose Festival
The Agros Rose Festival returns across two weekends on May 9-10 and May 16-17. Activities will take place throughout the village, including displays of rose products, decorations with pink roses, and a market featuring local sellers. The programme includes free rose-picking at dawn at the fields of the Rose Factory.
VIMA Art Fair in Limassol
The second edition of VIMA Art Fair runs from May 15 to 17 at The Warehouse by IT Quarter in Limassol. The event includes exhibitions, art conversations, curated projects and installations, with more than 150 artists, 30 galleries and participants from over 20 countries.
Performances and comedy events
The programme includes dance and sound performances, a film programme at Rialto Theatre, and exhibitions around Limassol and Nicosia, as well as in Foinikaria and Platres. At the Latsia Municipal Theatre in Nicosia, comedians and performers will present shows from May 15 to 17 as part of the Laughter Festival, including acts for children and teens, new stand-up shows and games.
Chef’s Kiss Food Festival in Ayia Napa
Chef’s Kiss Food Festival returns for its second edition at Ayia Napa Marina on May 16 and 17. The seafront outdoor event will feature live cooking demonstrations and more than 30 food concepts, and will run from noon until late evening on both days, welcoming visitors of all ages.
Doers Summit
The Doers Summit will be held on May 21 and 22, bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, start-ups and speakers. It includes a Doers Pitch described as a live Shark-Tank-style presentation where entrepreneurs present business ideas for a chance to receive funds, and will feature more than 150 professionals speaking across four stages.
Old Town Craft Beer Fest in Nicosia
The Old Town Craft Beer Fest will take place in old Nicosia on May 23 from 1pm onwards, featuring locally brewed craft beer, DJ sets, street food and beer-related activities. Crossline Brewing and Golem Brewhouse are co-hosting the event.
Strawberry and music festivals
The 15th PanCyprian Strawberry Festival is scheduled for Dherynia on May 29. The What the Fuzz Festival will be held at Savino Live on May 29-30, featuring heavy psych and stoner rock bands.
June events
Planned June events include accordion performances in the old Aglandjia quarter, dance performances at the Limassol Municipal Garden, a cherry festival, and Cyprus Pride celebrations.
Antique car and classic motorcycle festival in Larnaca
An annual festival featuring more than 400 antique cars and classic motorcycles is scheduled for May 10 at Finikoudes Avenue in Larnaca, running from 9am to 5pm.
