Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus Statistical Service (Cystat) said the Index of Industrial Output Prices reached 122.9 units in February 2026, posting increases both month-on-month and year-on-year.
Monthly and annual movement
Cystat reported the index rose 0.2% compared with January 2026. On an annual basis, it increased 1.1% compared with February 2025.
Change over the first two months of 2026
For January to February 2026, the index rose 0.9% compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
Index methodology
The Industrial Output Prices Index uses 2021 as its base year, set at 100 units, tracking monthly price fluctuations against the 2021 average.
Sector performance month-on-month
On a monthly basis, the index was unchanged in mining and quarrying and in water supply and materials recovery. It increased 0.3% in manufacturing, while electricity supply recorded a 0.3% decline.
Sector performance year-on-year
Compared with February 2025, Cystat reported increases across all major sectors. Mining and quarrying rose 4.4%, manufacturing increased 1.2%, water supply and materials recovery grew 1.2%, and electricity supply rose 0.5%.
Manufacturing divisions
Cystat said several divisions within manufacturing recorded notable annual increases.
