Nicosia, Cyprus. Police arrested five people overnight during checks and raids across Cyprus targeting offences including drug possession and illegal residence.
Traffic checks
Police stopped 449 vehicles and checked 555 drivers and passengers during the operation.
Authorities filed 300 reports for traffic offences, including 101 for speeding and one for driving under the influence of drugs. Seven vehicles were impounded.
Establishment raids
Police also raided 41 establishments and filed two reports.
