Nicosia, Cyprus. President Nikos Christodoulides on Tuesday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the Maronite community during a meeting with newly elected representative Petros Nakouzis. He said the government remains dedicated to resolving issues affecting the group.

Christodoulides congratulated Nakouzis on his election and said the government is investing in initiatives aimed at meeting the community’s needs.
Cooperation with church and parliament
He also highlighted strong cooperation with the Maronite Church and expressed readiness to work closely with Nakouzis in the House of Representatives.
