Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus’ tax department said employees, pensioners and self-employed persons with gross annual income exceeding €19,500 must file a tax return by October 31. The same date is the deadline for the payment of outstanding taxes.

In a statement, the tax department said the requirement applies to all employees, pensioners and self-employed persons whose gross annual income exceeds €19,500.
Late filing penalty
Tax returns submitted after the deadline incur a €150 penalty.
Online submission
Tax returns must be filed online through the Taxisnet system.
