Cyprus weather to stay mostly clear through Saturday with little temperature change

Nicosia, Cyprus. Cyprus is expected to see mostly clear weather on Wednesday, with increased cloudiness likely around midday. Temperatures are forecast to remain broadly stable through Saturday, with only isolated rain possible in mountainous areas at the weekend.


Wednesday forecast

Conditions on Wednesday will be mostly clear, although cloud cover is expected to increase around midday.

Temperatures will reach 32 degrees Celsius inland, around 30 degrees on the south and east coasts, around 27 degrees on the west and north coasts, and 22 degrees in the higher mountains.

Winds will be light, blowing mainly from south to northwest at up to 4 Beaufort, before strengthening in the afternoon to up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough.

Night conditions

Overnight, the weather will remain mainly clear. Light fog or mist and low cloud are expected to form in some areas, mainly in the southeast.

Temperatures will fall to around 16 degrees Celsius inland and along the northern coast, around 17 degrees on the rest of the coast, and 12 degrees in the higher mountains.

Winds will blow mainly from northwest to northeast at up to 3 Beaufort. Sea conditions will be calm to slightly rough.

Outlook through Saturday

Thursday, Friday and Saturday are expected to remain mainly clear.

During midday hours, locally increased cloudiness is forecast, and this may lead to isolated rain in mountainous areas on Saturday.

Temperatures are not expected to change significantly over the next three days.
