Demetra Holdings director resigns as company completes share buyback

Nicosia, Cyprus. Demetra Holdings Plc said board member Mark Klerides resigned from the company’s board of directors and the boards of its subsidiaries on July 20, 2026. The company also reported the purchase of 719 own shares during the same trading session.


Board departure

The board thanked Klerides for his service and contribution, describing them as invaluable, and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Share buyback

In a separate announcement on Tuesday, Demetra Holdings said the share buyback was conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and followed authorisation granted at its annual general meeting on June 30, 2026.

The transaction was executed through Cyprus Investment & Securities Corporation Ltd (CISCO). The company acquired 719 shares at €1.525 per share.

Of the total, 471 shares were acquired in the first portion of the transaction, while a further 248 shares were purchased during the remainder of the session.
