Athienou, Cyprus. A driver trapped in his overturned vehicle in Athienou was taken to Larnaca hospital shortly after midnight on Wednesday. Emergency crews responded to a collision on the main road where the car fell into a ditch.

Emergency crews responded at 12:08 am to the crash on the main road. Firefighters worked with the ambulance service to free the driver, who was then transported to hospital for treatment.

The fire service also dealt with three other incidents overnight: a fire in an open area of Limassol, a fire in an antique shop in Ayios Dometios, and a vehicle fire outside a home in Limassol.
