Ankara, Turkey. President Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey would not be dragged into the war between Iran, Israel and the United States, after an Iranian ballistic missile fired towards Turkey was intercepted.
Turkey’s stance on the conflict
Erdogan said Turkey’s main priority was to keep the country out of the conflict. “Our main priority is to keep our country away from this pit of fire,” he said.
Airspace security measures
Erdogan said Turkey was taking preventive actions against any threats to its airspace. “During this process, we are engaging in all preventative actions against any threats towards our air space, just as we did last night,” he said.
Preparedness for threats
Erdogan said Turkey was prepared for all threats, following the interception of what he described as a third Iranian ballistic missile fired towards Turkey.
