Pano Polemidia, Cyprus. A plugged-in extension cable caused a house fire on Wednesday night in Pano Polemidia, Limassol, according to the fire brigade. All residents exited the house safely, it said.
Fire reported and extinguished
Fire brigade spokesman Andreas Kettis said the fire was reported just after 9pm and was put out about an hour later.
Damage in bedroom
The fire started in a bedroom, causing extensive damage and affecting the house’s wiring, furniture and paintwork.
