Fire contained, operations halted
Officials at the Kurdistan Region’s Ministry of Natural Resources told Reuters that the fire had been contained, but work at the refinery remained suspended.
Suspension to continue pending assessment
Provincial officials said operations would be suspended until the fire from the Saturday drone strike was extinguished. Ministry officials also said work would remain suspended until the extent of the damage is assessed.
