Pentakomo, Cyprus. Firefighters were battling a blaze in the Pentakomo area of Limassol on Thursday after about six acres of dry grass, wild vegetation, trees and refuse were burned, police said.
Emergency response
The fire service said five fire engines from Vasiliko and Limassol stations were at the scene.
Protection measures
Crews also protected a nearby house from the flames.
