Limassol, Cyprus. A 23-year-old food delivery rider was robbed and beaten on Wednesday night in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol, police said on Thursday. The assailants stole his motorcycle, €100 in cash and two cell phones before fleeing the scene.
Attack and theft
According to police, the man was riding his motorcycle at around 9.50pm when he was approached by three individuals who attacked him and beat him with sticks.
Medical treatment
The victim went to Limassol general hospital, where he received treatment for bruises to his abdomen and right arm. He was later discharged.
Investigation
Police said the stolen motorcycle was later found abandoned on an open lot in Limassol. The investigation is ongoing.
