Fourth repatriation flight from Dubai to bring 170 passengers to Larnaca

Larnaca, Cyprus. A fourth government-supported repatriation flight carrying 170 passengers was due to arrive at Larnaca airport at 8pm on Saturday. The Cyprus Airways flight departed Dubai at 3pm after a two-hour delay and was en route to Cyprus.


Repatriation flights and arrivals

As of Saturday, a total of 805 Cypriots had been repatriated, with 781 returning from the United Arab Emirates. On Friday, two additional flights carrying 293 Cypriots arrived in Larnaca.

Government guidance and support

The government said on Saturday that efforts to facilitate the safe return of Cypriots currently stuck in regions in the Middle East would continue until the process is complete. Cypriots remaining in the Middle East were urged to monitor the situation, follow directives by local authorities and register on the Connect2CY online platform.
