Hezbollah chief says Israel-Lebanon agreement is null and rejects disarmament linkage

Washington, United States. Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem said on Saturday that the Israel-Lebanon framework agreement signed in Washington is “null,” calling it a “humiliation” and a surrender of sovereignty. He said it should be replaced by the Iran-U.S. memorandum.


Qassem rejects disarmament condition

In a statement, Qassem said any attempt to link Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon to Hezbollah’s disarmament crossed “red lines.”
