The new historical book: “History of Limassol: from Antiquity to Ottoman Conquest” in English language has been published in Cyprus. The information stated in the book was meticulously collected by the professors of the Cyprus University using original historical studies of the ancient byzantine, Frankish and Venetian times.
The book is divided into 6 chapters and discusses all finer details of a particular era.
Initially, “History of Limassol” was published in 2015, however the English version became available only now.
