Nicosia, Cyprus. House president Annita Demetriou on Tuesday received Romania’s ambassador to Cyprus, Dan Mihalache, on the occasion of the completion of his term. The two sides reaffirmed strong relations and cooperation between Cyprus and Romania.
Cooperation during ambassador’s tenure
Demetriou expressed appreciation for the constructive and productive cooperation between the House of Representatives and the Romanian embassy during Mihalache’s tenure, as well as for his active contribution to strengthening ties between Cyprus and Romania.
Commitment to further parliamentary dialogue
Both sides reaffirmed the excellent level of relations and cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, expressing a shared willingness to further enhance dialogue and promote exchanges at the highest level.
