Nicosia, Cyprus. The Index of Industrial Output Prices in Cyprus reached 121.7 in April 2026, down 0.2% from a year earlier, according to the state statistical service, Cystat. The index was 0.3% higher than in March 2026 and unchanged for the January-April 2026 period compared with the same period in 2025.
Monthly movement
Compared with March 2026, the index increased across all sectors. Water supply and materials recovery recorded the largest monthly rise at 1.9%, followed by electricity supply at 0.6%, manufacturing at 0.2% and mining and quarrying at 0.1%.
Annual changes
Against April 2025, prices increased by 6.3% in water supply and materials recovery, 1.6% in mining and quarrying and 1% in manufacturing. The overall annual decline was mainly due to electricity supply, where prices fell by 6.8% year on year.
Manufacturing division
Within manufacturing, the largest annual increase was recorded in the manufacture of furniture, other manufacturing, and the repair and installation of machinery and equipment, which rose by 5.7%.
