INEX Club Charity Ride 2026 draws 120 cyclists in Cyprus and supports youth cycling initiatives

Nicosia, Cyprus. The INEX Club Charity Ride 2026 concluded successfully in Cyprus on May 10, 2026, with 160 registered participants and around 120 cyclists taking part. Riders from Cyprus, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Austria, and Canada joined the event.

Event participation and routes

Participants rode three road cycling distances designed for different ability levels: 200 km, 100 km, and 50 km. Under favorable weather conditions, the routes provided a safe, well-supported experience across Cyprus, including plains, urban areas, and open roads.

Support stations and community atmosphere

Designated pit stations along the routes gave participants opportunities to rest, rehydrate, and interact with other cyclists. The event was marked by a strong sense of camaraderie and community spirit, with riders ranging from experienced cyclists to supporters of the cause.

Comments from INEX Club

Viacheslav Kuznetsov, CEO of INEX Club, said the event had grown from a club charity ride into a larger community initiative. He said the 2026 edition drew the highest number of participants to date and highlighted the number of people who joined for the shared idea and atmosphere.

Kuznetsov said the event was a warm and heartfelt day and thanked participants, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and organizers. He added that the ride motivates the club to continue developing the cycling community in Cyprus and to create more events that bring people together through sport, support, and shared values.

Use of funds and long-term aims

Supported by ARETI International Group, funds raised from the event will help advance the group’s cycling initiatives, including the provision of bicycles, helmets, protective gear, and other essential equipment for young athletes in Cyprus. INEX Club said the support will also help improve training conditions, enhance safety, and strengthen the confidence and motivation of young cyclists.
