Limassol, Cyprus. Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a 12-month-old boy who died at Limassol general hospital, as authorities await laboratory test results to determine the cause of death.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Friday did not establish the cause of the infant’s death, and samples were taken for histopathological and other laboratory analyses.

Investigation ongoing

Police said they are investigating a case of unnatural death and detectives are continuing to take statements to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
