Washington, United States. A potential agreement between Iran and the United States would return the number of vessels permitted to transit through the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within 30 days, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency.


Agreement terms

The report said the memorandum of understanding requires the ongoing naval blockade to be fully dismantled within 30 days.

Initial phase

Tasnim also reported that the first phase of the agreement would include the release of part of Iran’s frozen financial assets.
