Tehran, Iran. Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson said European Union countries will “pay the price, sooner or later” if they remain silent on the U.S.-Israeli offensive against Iran. Tehran considers the offensive a violation of international law.

Warning to EU countries

Speaking to Spanish broadcaster TVE on Thursday, spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said EU countries would face consequences if they continue to remain silent on the U.S.-Israeli offensive against Iran, which Tehran regards as a breach of international law.

Baqaei also reiterated Tehran’s denial that a missile intercepted in Turkish airspace had been launched from Iran.
