Tehran, Iran. Israel’s military said on Wednesday it struck a compound in eastern Tehran housing the headquarters of Iran’s major security bodies, as explosions were heard across the Iranian capital.
Strike targets named by Israeli military
Israel’s military said it conducted a series of strikes in Tehran, hitting buildings associated with the Basij, the all-volunteer force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and buildings linked to Iran’s internal security command.
Intelligence and cyber units also cited
The Israeli military said Wednesday’s strike also targeted the headquarters of Iran’s intelligence services and its cyber warfare operations, which it said were concentrated within the same eastern Tehran compound.
