KEAN project Limassol to redevelop former juice factory site into mixed-use coastal district

Limassol, Cyprus. bbf: is redeveloping the historic site of the original KEAN juice factory into the KEAN project Limassol, a mixed-use development combining residential, office and public spaces. The project is planned as an adaptive reuse of an industrial landmark into a modern coastal district.

Redevelopment of a historic industrial site

The development is located on the coastal site of the former KEAN juice factory, which the project describes as representing decades of Cypriot industrial history. bbf: has reported an investment of more than €200 million for the adaptive reuse of the site, positioning the project as part of long-term sustainable urban development and economic growth.

Mixed-use concept and target audiences

The project is described as aiming to combine European business efficiency with Mediterranean wellbeing. It is positioned to serve residents seeking designed living spaces, international executives and businesses looking to establish or relocate within a stable European environment, and professionals seeking a mixed-use setting for work and collaboration. The project also targets local investors and is presented as an open destination with public pedestrian plazas and shared spaces.

Masterplan and design partners

The masterplan includes four luxury towers, consisting of two residential towers and two office buildings, arranged around private gardens and public pedestrian plazas. The development site covers approximately 46,700 square metres and is planned to include high-end residences, premium commercial space, luxury retail and cultural amenities. bbf: partnered with London-based architectural firm UHA for the project’s design.
