Keve congratulates new MPs as AmCham Cyprus focuses on AI and Famagusta launches tourism campaign

Nicosia, Cyprus. The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, known as Keve, on Monday congratulated the newly elected members of the House of Representatives and expressed confidence in a parliamentary term focused on reforms and economic development. The American Chamber of Commerce in Cyprus also held an Executive Forum on artificial intelligence, while Famagusta began a major online tourism campaign for 2026.


Keve welcomes new MPs

Keve said the chamber’s president and board of directors extended congratulations to the new MPs and wished them success in their responsibilities.

The chamber said it believes the new parliamentary term will be a period of productive work and responsible decision-making, with emphasis on meaningful reforms and policies aligned with the needs of the economy and society.

It added that these efforts should contribute to the sustainable development and prosperity of Cyprus, particularly at a time of evolving economic demands.

AmCham Cyprus discusses AI and regulation

The American Chamber of Commerce in Cyprus held its Executive Forum 2026 on Monday, bringing together government officials, business leaders and technology experts to discuss how artificial intelligence is reshaping competitiveness and regulation.

The event, titled “From Compliance to Competitiveness: The Complete AI Leadership Agenda,” was organised by the chamber’s Digital Transformation and Fintech Committee and drew an audience from the public and private sectors.

According to the chamber, the forum focused on how organisations can turn regulatory compliance into a driver of innovation and competitive advantage in an economy increasingly shaped by AI.

Opening the event, Regional Manager Cyprus at Fortinet and head of the AmCham Digital Transformation and Fintech Committee, Paris P. Savva, highlighted the growing importance of artificial intelligence.

Famagusta promotes tourism in overseas markets

Famagusta is stepping up efforts to strengthen its position in key overseas tourism markets, with a major online campaign for 2026 already under way.
