Limassol court remands 21-year-old for seven days in captagon case

Limassol, Cyprus. A 21-year-old man has been remanded in custody for seven days by the Limassol district court in connection with a drug case. Police said 263 tablets of the synthetic stimulant captagon were found during a search of his apartment.


Search and seizure

Police said officers searched the suspect’s apartment and located 263 tablets of captagon under his bed.

Arrest and investigation

The suspect was arrested and taken to a police station for questioning, where he reportedly made allegations that are under investigation.

Court-ordered detention

Police said he was arrested under a court warrant ordering his detention for seven days.
